Thanksgiving delivery promo codes 2026: what the apps are doing, and what's open
Thanksgiving is November 26 this year. The delivery apps treat the week in a particular way: grocery deals and member offers in the days before, a quiet Thursday with whatever restaurants are open, and then the Black Friday retail push. Nothing for 2026 has been announced as of the date at the top; the tables below are the codes that applied this morning at 10:22pm, and the history is what each app did last year, so you know what to expect and when. This page is retested every morning through the holiday.

Codes that work today
These are the same codes as on each app's own page, tested with a real order each morning. When a Thanksgiving-specific code appears, it lands here the morning it applies, with the dates it runs.

What each app did for Thanksgiving last year
DoorDash
- 30FOOD (2025): 30% off a first Kroger-family grocery order of $45 or more, up to $20, on DoorDash, Nov 3 to 27. Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Harris Teeter and Mariano's counted. A Kroger code for 2026 is the likeliest repeat on this page.
- T-Mobile Tuesdays (2025): a free year of DashPass claimed through the T-Life app around Nov 25 to Dec 1, plus a free pie with a $12 grocery order for DashPass members that week. T-Mobile has run the DashPass giveaway more than once; if you're a customer, open T-Life the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
- The data: Thanksgiving Eve is DoorDash's biggest grocery day of the year, about 90% above normal, and its busiest Wednesday for restaurants. Thanksgiving Day orders spike for meat thermometers, gravy, foil and pies, which tells you DashMart and grocery delivery are live on the day where stores are open.
Uber Eats
- Uber One members (2025): 30% off Thanksgiving grocery staples (pies, dairy, eggs) through Nov 26, Fresh Tuesday 30% off select grocery on Nov 25, and 10% off Uber Black airport rides Nov 24 to 27, up to $14. No codes; the offers appeared in the app for members. The four-week trial covers the whole week if you start it after Nov 1.
- Kroger's 2,600 stores joined Uber Eats in early 2026, so a Kroger grocery deal on Uber Eats is possible this year for the first time.
Grubhub
- No Thanksgiving-specific promotion in 2024 or 2025 that I could find. Grubhub's holiday move is Cyber Monday: in 2025 some members were emailed a free year of Grubhub+. Grubhub added Instacart-powered grocery in November 2025 and ran 40% off $40 grocery orders over Christmas week, so a Thanksgiving grocery offer is plausible this year.
- Since February 2026, restaurant orders over $50 have no delivery or service fee on Grubhub for anyone, which makes it the cheapest app for a big group order on the day, code or no code.
Instacart
- Holiday Deal Month (2025): Thanksgiving stock-up deals from Nov 24, then Black Friday Nov 28 to 29 and Cyber Week Nov 30 to Dec 7, all in-app, no codes.
- Express Lane (2024): Instacart+ members got $0 delivery on orders of $10 or more instead of $35 from Nov 18 through the end of the year. Not announced for 2025; worth watching for.
- Instacart delivers on Thanksgiving Day where the store is open, matching store hours, usually a morning window.
Gopuff
- SNAPRELIEF1 and SNAPRELIEF2 (2025): $25 off SNAP-eligible items on a $25 order plus free delivery, Nov 1 to 15 and Nov 16 to 30, for customers paying with EBT. A 2026 version hasn't been announced; it goes on the Gopuff page if it is.
What's open on Thanksgiving Day
The apps deliver only from places that are open, so this list decides more than any code. From 2025 coverage, by location and usually with shorter hours:
- Open: Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House (most, many around the clock), Cracker Barrel (with a Thanksgiving menu and takeout), Bob Evans, Golden Corral, Boston Market (about twenty locations remain), McDonald's, Dunkin', Starbucks (select stores), Taco Bell, Wendy's, Popeyes, Burger King, Arby's, Jimmy John's, Jack in the Box, Whataburger. Krispy Kreme closes early. Many Chinese restaurants stay open, and Peking duck is one of DoorDash's top Thanksgiving Day spikes.
- Closed: Chick-fil-A, Chili's, Chipotle, Panera, Panda Express, Olive Garden.
- Store by store: Domino's doesn't require stores to open, so check the app for yours.
Check the app on the morning rather than trusting a list, including this one: franchisees decide, and the app only shows what's taking orders right now.
Grocery timing
- Turkey: order by the Saturday or Sunday before. Instacart's turkey orders peak four days out, and the large birds go first.
- Staples: peak on Wednesday, which is also DoorDash's busiest grocery day of the year. Order Tuesday if you can; Wednesday windows fill and substitutions rise.
- Thanksgiving Day: Instacart and DoorDash deliver where stores are open, usually morning windows that close by early afternoon. Allow two hours or more.
- The forgotten item: gravy, foil, a thermometer, whipped cream. This is what DashMart and the convenience apps are for on the day, and why Gopuff and DashMart orders spike on Thursday.
Whole meals, delivered or picked up
- Aldi's Thanksgiving meal for ten was $40 in 2025 and available through Instacart, DoorDash and Uber Eats from mid-October to Christmas Eve. The cheapest full meal on the apps last year.
- Amazon's $25 dinner for five (an 8-pound turkey and sides) ran Nov 12 to 27, 2025, with same-day delivery or pickup and no Prime required.
- Cracker Barrel Heat n' Serve (2025: $119.99 for four to six, $189.99 for eight to ten) and Bob Evans Turkey Feast ($104.99) are pickup from the restaurant's own site, ordered days ahead. Cracker Barrel gave a $10 bonus card for pickup on the Sunday or Monday before.
- Golden Corral takes pre-orders for delivery with an early-November deadline.
I'll update each of these with 2026 prices and dates as the chains announce them, and the codes table above updates every morning on its own.
Questions I get asked a lot
Does DoorDash deliver on Thanksgiving Day?
Yes, from whatever is open. DoorDash's own data has Thanksgiving Day as one of its busier holidays for restaurant delivery, and Thanksgiving Eve as its biggest grocery day of the year. The limit is the restaurant, not the app: chains like Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House, Cracker Barrel and many Chinese restaurants are open; Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Panera and Olive Garden are closed.
Is there a DoorDash Thanksgiving promo code?
Not a standing one. In 2025 the Thanksgiving code was Kroger's: 30FOOD for 30% off a first Kroger-family grocery order of $45 or more, through Nov 27. T-Mobile customers also got a free year of DashPass plus a free pie with a $12 grocery order that week. Nothing has been announced for 2026 yet; whatever appears goes in the tables on this page the morning it applies.
Does Uber Eats have Thanksgiving deals?
In 2025, Uber One members got 30% off Thanksgiving grocery staples (pies, dairy, eggs) through Nov 26 and the usual Fresh Tuesday 30% off select grocery the day before, applied in the app without a code. Uber Black airport rides were 10% off Nov 24 to 27. The pattern is member offers, not public codes.
When should I order Thanksgiving groceries for delivery?
By the Sunday or Monday before. Instacart's data has turkey orders peaking four days before Thanksgiving and staples peaking the day before, and DoorDash's grocery orders on Thanksgiving Eve run about 90% above a normal day. Same-day on Wednesday works, but windows fill and substitutions rise. Instacart delivers on Thanksgiving Day itself where the store is open, usually a morning window.
Can I get a Thanksgiving meal delivered?
Pre-ordered ones mostly go through the restaurant: Cracker Barrel's Heat n' Serve and Bob Evans' Turkey Feast are pickup from the restaurant's own site. The delivery-app route is Aldi's $40 Thanksgiving meal kit for ten, which was on Instacart, DoorDash and Uber Eats in 2025, and Amazon's $25 dinner for five with same-day delivery. For a cooked meal on the day, Boston Market, Cracker Barrel and Golden Corral have been on the apps where they're open.
Which restaurants are open on Thanksgiving?
From 2025 coverage: Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Golden Corral, Boston Market (the few left), McDonald's, Dunkin', Starbucks (select stores), Taco Bell, Wendy's, Popeyes, Burger King, Arby's, Jimmy John's, Jack in the Box and Whataburger, mostly with shorter hours and by location. Closed: Chick-fil-A, Chili's, Chipotle, Panera, Panda Express, Olive Garden. Domino's leaves it to each store.
