In March I spent twenty minutes trying codes from three coupon sites, every one of them "verified today", and none worked. Those sites don't test anything. They scrape each other, and the code at the top of the page is usually the one that died first. I figured if I was going to test codes anyway, I might as well write it down for everyone else looking.

So that's what this is. One person, a handful of test accounts, a real order in the cart, every morning before 9am Eastern. If a code works, it goes up with the time and what was in the cart. If it dies, I say so and leave the date. If it fails for you, tell me and I'll retest it the same day.

What I will and won't do

• I only list codes I've applied myself or that a reader confirmed this week.
• I write down the existing-user deals even when the honest answer is "there is no code".
• I don't do fake countdown timers, "27 people used this today", or codes copied from other sites.
• I don't take money to list a code. How the site is supported.
