Grubhub promo codes that work todayOctober 27, 2026 · tested this morning
Grubhub turned out to be the busiest page this morning: five codes applied at checkout, which is more than any other app on this site. The one caveat is that I didn't write down the exact discount on two of them, so the table says that where it applies. Codes first, then the thing Prime members keep missing.

50% off your first order with code WSJ50
Type it in the "Promo code" box at checkout on a new Grubhub account. It applied this morning. If your account isn't new, skip to GH25OFF in the table, which took 25% off an order of $15 or more on an account that had ordered before.
Fine print: WSJ50 is posted as a new-customer code, and Seamless counts as Grubhub (same company, same account history). Minimums and caps are whatever Grubhub shows on the checkout line; if a code says "not valid", the reasons are further down.
Every Grubhub code I tested this morning
Links to the apps may earn me a small commission at no cost to you. It never changes which codes make this list.
| Code | What you get | Who it works for | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GH25OFF | 25% off an order of $15 or more | Applied on a Grubhub account this morning | Worked 10:55am, applied at checkout | |
| WSJ50 | 50% off your first order | New Grubhub or Seamless accounts | Worked 10:55am, applied at checkout | |
| PRIME10 | $7 off Outback Steakhouse orders of $35 or more | Anyone, Outback orders only | Worked 10:55am, applied at checkout | |
| PRIME50 | Took money off at checkout; the amount depends on the order | Applied this morning; try it on your account | Worked 10:55am, applied at checkout | |
| GET10 | Took money off at checkout; the amount depends on the order | Applied this morning; try it on your account | Worked 10:55am, applied at checkout |
Five for five this morning. That's unusual for Grubhub, which runs fewer public codes than DoorDash and leans on Grubhub+ and the Perks tab, so I'll retest all of them tomorrow and note anything that stops. Something fail for you? Tell me which code and I'll retest it today. Readers catch dead codes faster than I do.
Grubhub+ is free with Amazon Prime (and it may be the best deal on this page)
Grubhub+ is normally $9.99 a month as of this writing: $0 delivery fees on orders over the minimum, lower service fees, and credit back on pickup. Amazon Prime includes it for as long as you keep Prime. You just have to link the accounts, which takes two minutes and which almost nobody does.
- Go to amazon.com/grubhub while signed in to Prime.
- Tap "Activate", then sign in to Grubhub (or make an account).
- Back in the Grubhub app, the Grubhub+ badge shows in Account. Delivery fees drop to $0 on the next eligible order.
If you order more than a couple of times a month, the delivery fees this removes add up to more than any single code. Full walkthrough: Grubhub+ is free with Amazon Prime, and most Prime members don't know.
Grubhub deals for existing customers
- GH25OFF, in the table above. It applied this morning on an account that had ordered before, which makes it the rare existing-customer code that isn't a recycled new-user one.
- Grubhub+ through Prime, above. Works on any account, new or old.
- The Perks tab. Bottom of the app. Restaurant-specific deals, free items with a minimum, and "$X off your next order" offers that tend to show up after a quiet stretch. They're personal to your account.
- Pickup. No delivery fee, and Grubhub+ members get credit back on it.
- Students: Grubhub+ Student is free with a verified campus account at participating schools.
- The Grubhub Guarantee. If your order is late or priced higher than the restaurant's own site, Grubhub gives you a credit. You have to claim it from the order page.

How to make a Grubhub promo code apply
- Add your food and tap Checkout.
- Scroll to Promo code under the payment method. Paste, tap Apply.
- The discount shows as a line above the total. If it says "this promo isn't valid", read the reasons below.
Grubhub+: the trial, the student plan and the Prime route
Grubhub+ is $9.99 a month on its own as of this writing. Three ways to not pay for it:
- Amazon Prime includes it for as long as you keep Prime. The steps are above.
- A free trial for anyone who hasn't had one and doesn't have Prime. Set a reminder to cancel before it bills if you don't want it.
- Grubhub+ Student is free at participating campuses with a verified school account.
Why your Grubhub promo code failed
- You've ordered from Grubhub or Seamless before and the code is new-customer only. Same company, same account history. New-customer codes check address and card, not just email.
- Under the minimum. The minimum is food before fees, tax and tip.
- Restaurant not participating. Some Grubhub codes only apply at restaurants with the "Promo eligible" tag, and PRIME10 only works on Outback orders.
- Pickup vs delivery. Delivery codes fail on pickup orders.
- Expired overnight. Check the "checked" time at the top. If it's from yesterday, I haven't retested yet.
Codes that stopped working (and when)
Nothing died this week. When a code does, it goes here with the date, so you can see it was real and know not to bother.
Questions I get asked a lot
Is there a Grubhub promo code for existing users right now?
GH25OFF applied this morning on an account that wasn't new. Beyond that, Grubhub+ through Prime and the Perks tab are the real existing-customer deals.
Can I use a promo code with Grubhub+?
Yes. The code takes money off the food, Grubhub+ removes the delivery fee. They stack.
Does Seamless count as Grubhub?
Yes. Same company, same accounts, same codes. If you've used Seamless, you're not new to Grubhub.
How often is this page updated?
Every morning before 9am Eastern, and during the day when a reader reports a dead code.
