U-Haul discount codes for repeat renters: what actually works in October 2026
U-Haul doesn't do new-customer codes, so there's nothing a repeat renter is missing out on. What there is: a short list of standing offers and a longer list of charges that turn a $19.95 quote into $150. Both are below.
1. The free month of storage
One-way truck or trailer rental, first month free at a participating U-Haul self-storage location, no deposit, no admin fee. Redeemable at any U-Haul-owned location that offers it. The most valuable U-Haul offer, and most people only find out about it at the counter.
2. 20% off Wyndham hotels
On a one-way move, U-Haul customers get 20% off the best available rate at Wyndham Hotel Group hotels with an advance reservation. On a two-night drive that's a real number.
3. The charges that matter more than any code
Mileage on in-town rentals, fuel (return it at the level you got it or pay U-Haul's rate plus a fee), the damage waiver, and extra days. Decline the waiver only if your own auto policy or credit card explicitly covers rental trucks; many exclude trucks over a certain size. Returning on time and with the right fuel level saves more than any discount on this page.
4. Supplies codes
The codes on the coupon sites are for boxes, tape and moving supplies, entered on the cart page. I'll test them against a supplies order and list the ones that apply; buying used boxes locally still tends to beat them.
