Uber promo codes that work todayOctober 27, 2026 · tested this morning

Rides, not food, but the same people ask me, and the codes behave the same way: one new-rider offer per phone number and card, and almost nothing public for existing riders. Checked this morning against what the app itself shows at signup.

30% off your first trip up to $8 off

Attached to a new account at signup, so it applies on its own on the first ride. The app also shows RIDEUBER2026FT as a code for the same offer; it's in the unverified list below until I've entered it by hand. If you want to type it, it goes under Account, then Wallet, then Add promo code, before you request.

Fine print: New Uber accounts only; Uber Eats history counts as Uber history. One per phone number and card. Caps at $8 off. Some offers are city-locked.

Every Uber code I tested this morning

Links to the apps may earn me a small commission at no cost to you. It never changes which codes make this list.

No public code applied this morning. The offer above is attached to the account, not a code. The unverified ones below are what I'm checking next.

The signup offer applies without a code, so an empty tested table here is normal. Something fail for you? Tell me which code and I'll retest it today. Readers catch dead codes faster than I do.

Codes people are sharing that I haven't tested yet

Every morning I collect the Uber codes being posted on Reddit and elsewhere in the last couple of days. These are the ones I haven't applied myself yet, newest first. Try them if you like; if one works or fails for you, tell me and it moves up or comes down the same day. Last collected Oct 27 at 11:46am.

Uber promo codes for existing riders

There are no public existing-rider codes. What works:

  • Uber One's free month: a cut off rides, plus Uber Eats delivery fees waived. Cancel before it bills.
  • Ride passes. Uber sometimes offers a monthly pass in the app (Account, then Ride passes) with a set discount per trip. Only worth it if you ride most days.
  • Airport and event promos show up in the app's promotions section before big events in your city.

How to make an Uber promo code apply

  1. Tap Account, then Wallet, then Add promo code, before you request.
  2. The discount shows on the fare estimate. If it doesn't, the code didn't take.
  3. Codes are often city-locked; a code from a Chicago page fails in Dallas.

Uber One for riders

$9.99 a month as of this writing for a cut off rides and no delivery fees on Uber Eats. One free month for anyone who hasn't had it. Some Capital One and Amex cards have included it; check the card's benefits page.

Why your Uber promo code says "not eligible"

  1. You've used Uber or Uber Eats before. One account.
  2. Wrong city. The most common reason for ride codes.
  3. Your card has paid Uber before.
  4. Expired. Check the time at the top.

Codes that stopped working (and when)

Nothing died this week. When a code does, it goes here with the date, so you can see it was real and know not to bother.

Uber gift cards

Uber gift cards pay for rides and Uber Eats, and resellers sell them below face value. That's the one "existing rider" discount that works every time.

Questions I get asked a lot

Is there an Uber promo code for existing users?

Not a public one. Uber One and discounted gift cards are the existing-rider options.

How often is this page updated?

Every morning before 9am Eastern.
