Lyft promo codes that work todayOctober 27, 2026 · tested this morning
Lyft's new-rider deal is usually better than Uber's because it covers two rides, and Lyft is more generous with in-app discounts for existing riders. Checked this morning against what the app itself shows at signup.

50% off your first 2 rides up to $10 each
Attached to a new account at signup, so it applies on its own on the first two rides. The app also shows riderdiscount1 as a code for the same offer; it's in the unverified list below until I've entered it by hand. To type it: open the menu, then Rewards, then Enter promo code, before requesting.
Fine print: New Lyft accounts only. One per phone number and card. Caps at $10 a ride, two rides. Some offers are city-locked.
Every Lyft code I tested this morning
Links to the apps may earn me a small commission at no cost to you. It never changes which codes make this list.
No public code applied this morning. The offer above is attached to the account, not a code. The unverified ones below are what I'm checking next.
The signup offer applies without a code, so an empty tested table here is normal. Something fail for you? Tell me which code and I'll retest it today. Readers catch dead codes faster than I do.
Codes people are sharing that I haven't tested yet
Every morning I collect the Lyft codes being posted on Reddit and elsewhere in the last couple of days. These are the ones I haven't applied myself yet, newest first. Try them if you like; if one works or fails for you, tell me and it moves up or comes down the same day. Last collected Oct 27 at 11:45am.
| Code | What you get | Who it works for | Status | |

Lyft promo codes for existing riders
Lyft actually does send existing riders discounts, but in the app, not as public codes:
- In-app ride discounts. Check the Rewards tab; Lyft tends to drop "X% off your next few rides" there after a quiet stretch.
- Lyft Pink's free trial. Member pricing and priority pickups. One free month if you've never had it.
- Lyft Pink through a card. Chase Sapphire Reserve has included Lyft Pink; several other cards earn bonus points on Lyft. Check your card's benefits page.
How to make a Lyft promo code apply
- Open the menu, tap Rewards, then Enter promo code, before you request.
- The discount shows on the fare estimate. If it doesn't, it didn't take.
- Ride codes are often city-locked.
Lyft Pink
$9.99 a month as of this writing for member pricing, priority pickups and free cancellations. One free month if you've never had it. Chase Sapphire Reserve has included it.
Why your Lyft promo code says "invalid"
- You've ridden with Lyft before. Phone number and card are matched.
- Wrong city.
- Code already used twice. The new-rider offer covers exactly two rides.
- Expired. Check the time at the top.
Codes that stopped working (and when)
Nothing died this week. When a code does, it goes here with the date, so you can see it was real and know not to bother.
Questions I get asked a lot
Is there a Lyft promo code for existing users?
Not a public one, but check the Rewards tab; Lyft puts real existing-rider discounts there.
How often is this page updated?
Every morning before 9am Eastern.
